Refinement and engineering of the modular type family and resulting wordmark for Institute of Design.
The ID Display family consists of five levels of module intervention, leading to an increase in abstraction and a decrease in readability. The process for building out the system was a combination of programmatic and curatorial, aiming for a set of styles that come across as a random progression.
